Only 4 years ago Giulia Franco, owner of Borgo i Vicelli and Andrea Perini executive chef, started this adventure together.
Our cooking philosophy is based on the search of the perfect connection and harmony between the flavors of our land and the best labels of Evo oil. Enjoy the atmosphere and the panorama of a charming location on the hills of Florence, for an important occasion or a special evening, for a corporate dinner or a particular event in an elegant and reserved context.

In addition to the Bio one that we produced in the Borgo i Vicelli farm , you can find over 100 labels from all over Italy, for this reason oil becomes the main element of each dish and protagonist of the cuisine of Al 588, winner of the Best Oil restaurant award 2019 for the guide Flos Olei.

The restaurant is located in the ancient tavern of Borgo i Vicelli restyled in country chic style,seats up to a maximum of 35 people. In summer with nice and warm days , it’s possible to dine by the pool or under the loggia of the main villa, enjoying specialties that follow the rhythm of the seasons and the idea of zero km cuisine with many products from our organic garden. The wines are selected by the sommelier Giacomo Carri, chosen exclusively from the best small productions of the Tuscan cellars.
